The Allen-Bradley ETAP2F is an industrial Ethernet networking component that features One (1) Copper Ports and Two (2) Fiber Optic interfaces supporting 10/100 Mbps communication speed. It may also be used with encompass partner modules as well as non-Allen-Bradley and 3rd party products.

The single copper port of the 1783-ETAP2F is capable for 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiating capability and supports operation in full or half duplex modes. The dual fiber optic ports of the 1783-ETAP2F is similarly capable of 10/100 Mbps communication speed with support for longer communication distance that exhibits increased susceptibility to noise and disturbances of electrical nature.

The 1783-ETAP2F does not install to any backplane nor does not draw current from it. It is supplied externally by a power supply with input voltage range of 20.4…27.6V DC with a nominal input voltage of 24VDC.
